1. THE COMPETITION

1.1  The title of the competition is “Win £250”.

1.2  Subject to clause 3, users of Jobbler will be automatically added into a prize draw to be in with a chance to win £250 cash.

2. HOW TO ENTER

2.1  The competition will run bi-monthly (twice a calendar month). The closing date for entries will be published on the Jobbler Competition page. 

2.2  To enter the competition, you must have fulfilled the following conditions:

(a) you must have posted a ‘Job’ on the Jobbler platform; and

(b) you must have engaged a professional via the Jobbler platform and entered into a chat.

2.3  There is no charge as a client to register for use of the Jobbler platform or to post a ‘Job’.

2.4  Jobbler will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are lost, mislaid, regardless of cause, including for example, equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.

2.5  By posting a Job on Jobbler, you are agreeing to be automatically included within the prize draw and be bound by these terms and conditions. Should you not wish to be included, you can contact us at admin@jobbler.co.uk and asked to be removed.

3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1  The competition is only open to residents in Jersey, Channel Islands aged 18 years or over, except:

(a) employees of Jobbler or its holding or subsidiary companies;

(b) employees of agents or suppliers of Jobbler or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or

(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.

3.2  By entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim. Jobbler may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.

3.3  There is a limit of one entry to the competition per Job posted.

3.4  Jobbler reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize competition.

4. THE PRIZE

4.1  The prize is £250 cash payable to the competition winner

4.2  The prize is not negotiable or transferable.

5. WINNERS

5.1 The winner will be selected at random by Jobbler. The decision of Jobbler is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.

5.2  Jobbler will contact the winner as soon as practicable after the draw closes, using the telephone number or email address provided when the winner registered with Jobbler as a user.

5.3  Jobbler must either publish or make available the surname of the winner. To comply with this obligation, the name of the winner will be published on our competition landing page and/or our social media accounts.

5.4  If you object to your name being published or made available, please contact Jobbler on admin@jobbler.co.uk.

6. CLAIMING THE PRIZE

6.1  The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.

6.2  Jobbler will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed their prize within 14 of days of the announcement date, Jobbler reserves the right to offer the prize to the next eligible entrant selected from the correct entries that were received before the closing date of that particular draw.

6.3  Jobbler does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the prize.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

7.1  Insofar as is permitted by law, Jobbler or its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Jobbler or its agents. Your statutory rights are not affected.

8. DATA PROTECTION AND PUBLICITY

8.1  Jobbler will only process your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy.

9. GENERAL

9.1  If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Jobbler may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.

9.2  Jobbler reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.

9.3  Disputes arising in connection with these competition terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Jersey Courts.
